Webinars are organized as part of gathering opinions and inputs from experts, scientists and researchers all over the world for effective rebuilding and reconstruction of Kerala. Discussions will be held on Zoom Platform. Ten experts who have expertise in a particular topic will simultaneously participate in online virtual discussions.

The topics related to the natural disasters of Kerala are categorized into five major thematic areas. Twenty webinars including sub-topics will be conducted.

The online seminar will cover topics such as land use, water management, local community and resilience, forest management, Transport, communication and technology, mining, habitat, disaster risk areas etc. Subsequent consultations will be held on suggestions made in each topic. A brief summary of the discussions by the technical experts conducted in Kerala will be discussed in the webinar on the respective topics.
By bringing the technical expertise of the world-renowned experts in a single platform, Rebuild Kerala Initiative will provide a great contribution in rebuilding a disaster-resilient Kerala. There is an opportunity for the public to see the opinions of world-renowned scientists as well.
